DEEP TRANCE MEDIUMSHIP

 

Over many years of the demonstration of deep trance mediumship, there has been many theories put forward by believers and sceptics alike to what actually take place.

First of all it needs to be established as to the difference between the levels of actual trance control and how it takes place.  Trance mediumship has many facets and levels, ranging from light inspiration, to a deep uncontrolled catatonic state of the medium known as deep trance.

 

When a person is in a light level of trance/inspiration, the individual is fully aware and can often have an influence over what is being said and what is taking place.  This type of trance is open to the person’s ego, aspirations and subsequent thought patterns.  More often than not this form of trance is projected to the person(s) present as being that of information solely from the spirit world, although an element of the spirit world connection is present often it is hard for the enquirer to distinguish between that of the information coming from the spirit world and that of the medium.

 

Deep trance is where the medium, or sometimes referred to as a channel, has no input or part to what is being said or what is taking place.  For this level of trance to take place the medium has to first be endowed with the ability to create a state of self-submission within themselves and also be able to create a state of mind to make them receptive to the spirit control that wishes to converse with the person(s) gathered.

With a subtle blending of the medium’s auric emulation and that of the spirit controls vibration, a blending of their two auric felids is able to take place.  This can only take place if the medium is able to slow their mental, emotional and cognitive rhythms to such a level that the medium is able to induce a catatonic-type state.  It is at this transition that the medium’s etheric essence is able to be removed from their normal state of physical being and the spirit individual is able to engage of the use of the mediums physical faculties, often replicating similar behaviour and diction to that of which the person themselves once displayed while within a physical body.

 

In some cases a medium such as David Thompson that has the ability to produce the substance known as ectoplasm, and is able to give the spirit person the option to coat the medium’s vocal cords with ectoplasm to be able to produce the exact voice they had while alive.

 

Deep trance is a very rare form of trance mediumship, and should be cultivated and cherished by the medium to constantly allow the spirit world to have a clear channel of communication, where information is not influenced or changed by the medium and only clear and equitable information unhindered by the medium is able to be conveyed.
