TESTIMONIAL – SÉANCE SYDNEY 30 MARCH 2008 As a guest of the Circle of the Silver Cord and physical medium David Thompson, I was not looking for proof of an afterlife for I am beyond believing and live with an unshakeable knowing of the presence of the spirit world within my own life. The evening’s events not only inspired me but proved to me without a doubt that David Thompson is one of the worlds best physical mediums today. The evening began with the thorough checking of the séance room, the window's, door, etc. and the mediums chair. Thorough searching of individuals attending and the strong nylon straps used to secure David in the chair were checked by my friend and myself. These are strong straps and the buckles were threaded through with plastic ties, that could not be opened or unfastened without cutting. David wore a buttoned cardigan that again strong plastic ties were threaded through, and would cause the fabric to rip if they were pulled out. The gag placed in his mouth, I am sure would of caused discomfort it was so tight. The music started to lift the vibrations, and almost immediately it had stopped, William, David's friend from the spirit world greeted us. I was astounded at how quickly this occurred, but knew with every ﬁbre of my being, this was a real spirit manifestation addressing us. William moved towards me very quickly touching my hair and placing his hand on my head, a strong smooth hand then proceeded to shake hands with me, a ﬁrm, warm real solid hand of a man and I could feel his presence in front of me so close to my face, William conversing with me also observed and commented that I was a little cold and had brought a blanket in with me, of which I had. William addressed others and proceeded to answer questions from us, and may I say with unquestionable evidence, mine were answered. William then clapped his hands, stamped his feet all the time talking to us with great clarity. I personally felt there was absolutely no identifying characteristics of his voice, that could be associated with the mediums voice David. This in itself, along with other communicators, through direct voice, was extremely evident. Each tone, sound and characteristic of speech were totally different, though all with amazing clarity. The trumpet display was outstanding, with excellent precision the execution of this trumpet phenomena was mind blowing! The trumpet also touched my face, moved over my head, and it left no doubt in my mind that the spirit team were accomplished with this, it was fantastic. Timothy, the spirit child responsible for the ectoplasm manipulation, also showed us his ﬁngers and thumb under a luminous plaque, the ﬁngers of a child as he wriggled them to show everyone in the group. The communicators whom manifested were of great standing in the history of spirit work and research, which to my personal delight meant a lot to me. Gordon Higginson spoke directly to me ﬁrstly addressing a conversation I had had about him the previous evening! An amazing experience as I have had an affinity and deep respect for his work though never knew him. However my father did, and Gordon spoke of this, he also spoke of the sanctuary I am involved in, with direct knowledge. Alan Crossley a great physical mediumship researcher and a friend of my fathers also came through that evening, he greeted me personally, spoke about my dad several times, and shook my hand, felt my face and stroked my hair, this causing me to be very moved. Two people in the spirit of whose work I revere, of whom I have only heard about, and here they were speaking and touching me like they knew me personally. Lesley Flint, also addressed someone in the room he knew giving him great support for his own work as a medium. To have these great pioneers for the spirit manifest to speak to us, give us encouragement for the work we do for the spirit, cannot be compared. A questioning mind, I always look for the reality over the illusion,and this was a reality! Helen Duncan and her spirit control also addressed my friend, but that is his story, being very important and of a personal nature it was not only moving but very evidential. Louis Armstrong sang to us and the very presence of this man ﬁlled the room, his rendition of a Wonderful World brought tears to my eyes. Towards the end of the séance William returned to say the spirit team were going to endeavour to levitate David in the chair and bring him out of trance to speak to us. At this stage in red light my friend and I were asked to check David's straps and binds by the spirit team, to ensure he was indeed still secured in his chair. This we did and it was at this point I realized his cardigan had been reversed, ties still intact and he was in a deep trance strongly strapped to the chair. The accomplishment of the great spirit power to levitate David like that was unbelievable, and certain things stood out to me. When David was brought out of trance for a short time, his voice was coming from the top of the ceiling in the centre of the room, at the beginning of the séance David was situated on my right at about six feet in front of me in front of the circle. He had undeniably been moved/levitated in the chair, speaking to us from that height and deﬁnitely not in his original position. On bringing him down he landed in the centre of the circle away from his original position! This levitation was an unbelievable and carefully engineered aspect from the spirit team, and when checking David after landing back down, I realized the gag had very obviously been dematerialized, in order for David to speak, and then re-materialised when he was brought down from the ceiling! I checked that gag at the beginning of the evening, there is no way David could of spoke to us during the levitation with that in his mouth! This was also evident because the knot and tightness were the same and I noticed the impression on David's skin from the gag being tight in his mouth. My colleague and I watched as he was untied and cut out of the plastic ties, there was no way anything slightly was missed. On summarizing, for anyone to even try these feats of the most amazing spirit power, to discredit or cry fraud, I say to you to replicate half of the phenomena, you would ﬁnd it impossible. What took place that evening is the magniﬁcent ability of a brilliant physical medium, in co-operation with his spirit team to produce a life and mind changing experience for many to have. May I say David Thompson wears no crowns, he is mindful of his work for the spirit, that in itself stands out in the person and man that he is. Respectful and of great humility with his ability. These experiences through David's mediumship abilities, need to be acknowledged by not just us in the ﬁeld of spiritual mediumship. I personally always look for the evidence of that reality within my own work, but to those whom seek the truth the existence that our spirit heritage is a living knowing reality. This phenomena does redeﬁne much of science, this is the real spirit world in action!
