Physical Materialisation Séance 22nd September 2008 - Perth What a wonderful opportunity and experiences we all enjoyed while hosting the members of the Circle of the Silver Cord in Perth over 5 days in September, and the varied Demonstration of Mediumship that we witness from David Thompson – a Physical Medium. Thank you so much to all the members of The Circle of the Silver Cord for the experiences that we all shared together. To have this opportunity is something I never dreamed of, for me it’s a part of our history, and to actually attend a physical séance, where without a doubt the spirit proved their existence beyond any conceivable questionability was like a dream come true. On the evening of attending the Séance, we were required to register, and to prove our ID by showing our drivers licence; we were all searched and than scanned and directed into the Séance room where we were placed in a semi circle around the cabinet. This was to ensure that we had no metal objects on our person or anything that could prove harm to David. His safety was and is of utmost importance during this whole experience. As once as every one was seated within the Séance room – the Circle of the Silver Cord members were all also individually searched by other guests who were attending the séance. The room was then sealed so that no one could enter or leave. David Thompson was seated in the cabinet and two people from the group checked David – where David’s feet and arms were strapped firmly into the chair and then he was tightly gagged. His cardigan was buttoned and then tied through the button holes with electrical cable ties – to ensure that he could not take of his cardigan and his gag was also tied with an electrical cable tie – so that you could see that there was no way that David Thompson could be removed or taken out of the chair during the séance. He was firmly seated and secured which we all witnessed. We were then directed to sing to raise the vibration of the atmosphere and as we began you could feel the atmosphere begin to change and become very cold. Before long William came through and spoke to us. The presence of William was one of great compassion and love – you could feel the essence of his presence within the room and he demonstrated that he was quite present physically by stamping his feet and clapping his hands. He was very real. He spoke and answered questions that were put forward. William than said to Chris (the Circle Leader) that this had only been done once before and said that he would be a moment as he needed more ectoplasm. With this you heard the whoosh sound going back into the cabinet, and then William coming back out of the cabinet. He proceeded to walk around the outside of the circle, touching people’s shoulders and head. William touched and squeezed both my Left and Right Shoulder – his hand was real – you could feel the complete hand squeezing your shoulders and the touch of his fingers – which was quite a large hand in comparison with David Thompson’s hand. What an amazing experience to be physically touched by the spirit world – and the understanding of what was happening for this experience to take place – for the vibration from our side and the spirit side to be able to do this experiment, of taking more ectoplasm from David that was required for William to be able to walk around the whole of the outside of the group fully materialised and touching everyone. As he said, he had only done this once previously. William said his goodbyes and that he would be back later. This led to little Timmy coming to join us and demonstrating a phenomenal light show with the trumpets. The trumpets have illuminated bands around the outside. Within the room that we were seated there were high beams and a ceiling fan. How the trumpets did not touch the beams or the fan just shows how precise and in control that Timmy was with the trumpets. This lasted for some time – as we sang and enjoyed this phenomenon. Then Timmy spoke to us, and his personality was quite evident and completely different to William. You could feel the cheekiness of this young lad and his merriment and enjoyment of what he is able to do within the Séance room. He asked us all were we scared and we all said no. With this he then said “Boo” and there was much laughter. He then took the trumpets outside of the circle, walked around the outside hitting us on the head and the shoulders so that we new without any doubt that he was definitely there! At this time we were truly blessed with two family members coming through and speaking to their family. I was seated between Margaret and Eddie and the first family member that came through was Margaret’s Dad. You could clearly hear him walking and breathing – his presence was real beyond a doubt and you could feel the change of the vibration within the room when these family members came through. Margaret’s husband sat opposite the room – and he went and spoke to Neil. He then came back and continued talking to Margaret. You were very much aware of his presence, listening to him walk and talking to his daughter and son in law, the words he used were words that he used when alive, as Margaret confirmed later – as he called her his Bonnie Lass. The next family member that came through was Eddie & Christine’s Granddad. When he came through, the vibration of the room changed once again – his footsteps were completely different as you heard him shuffling his feet towards Eddie and communicating with Eddie in front of myself – you could hear him breathing and could feel his presence like you would if you were meeting and talking to a person in everyday life. We then began to sing some more and Howard Bloomsbury came through as we were singing Waltzing Matilda – he joined in and you could clearly hear his deep soul like voice singing. He then spoke to Chris of which harmonica was needed for Louis Armstrong – which Howard then said the small harmonica. As we began to sing What a Wonderful World – you could clearly hear Louis Armstrong singing over the top of all of us. How joyful an experience to be singing with Louis Armstrong! He then took the harmonica and played a tune while tap dancing at the same time. Hearing the taps on the board and being in tune with the harmonica was a wondrous experience to witness. William spoke once more, wishing us goodnight and directing Chris to the music we needed to close the Séance. Then you heard a large thumb. When the infra red light was put on, David’s chair with David in it had been levitated out of the cabinet to in front of the group. And we could all see where his cardigan had been dematerialised and then materialised back to front. Two people within the group were once again asked to check on the cables to ensure that they were still secure – which they were – as were the straps that tired David’s arms and legs to the chair and the gag was firmly in place. What an amazing and powerful experience this was. Without any doubt, the spirit were physically present during the evening proving that life is continues, there is no ending at all in life’s circle. To have loved ones communicate to family members, and to have William, Timmy, Howard and Louis Armstrong present, they were without any doubt very real, they were who they said they were and each one’s presence was felt very distinctly within the séance room. This experience is etched within my own spirit, even though I believed before, to actually be present and witness this amazing event is another story. William spoke once more, wishing us goodnight and directing Chris to the music we needed to close the Séance. Then you heard a large thumb. To have loved ones communicate to family members, and to have William, Timmy, Howard and Louis Armstrong present, they were without any doubt very real, they were who they said they were and each one’s presence was felt very distinctly within the séance room.

This experience is etched within my own spirit, even though I believed before, to actually be present and witness this amazing event is another story.
